# Building Validant Lab with Kiro, Clerk, and MongoDB

We’re glad to share that Validant Lab has been accepted into startup programs from Kiro, Clerk, and MongoDB.

## A useful kind of momentum

We’re glad to share that Validant Lab has been accepted into startup programs from Kiro, Clerk, and MongoDB.

For a small team, the right support can remove practical friction. It can give us more room to test the product, make better technical decisions, and spend time with the security problems founders actually face instead of spending every week rebuilding our setup.

We are keeping the announcement simple because the work is still the main story: we are building Validant Lab for startups that need a clearer way to understand their security and compliance readiness.

## Why these programs fit the work

Validant Lab sits at the intersection of product development, identity, data, and AI-assisted engineering. Kiro, Clerk, and MongoDB each connect to a part of that work, which makes these programs useful at this stage of the company.

The product looks across code, infrastructure, identity, payments, and AI integrations. It maps the evidence from those systems to relevant SOC 2 and GDPR controls, so teams can see what is implemented and where they still have work to do.

The startup-program support helps us keep building around that product reality. We can test workflows, improve the underlying experience, and stay focused on making security readiness easier to understand before it becomes a sales blocker or an audit emergency.

## What we are focused on next

We are using this stage to do the unglamorous work well:

- Connect product and infrastructure signals to useful security evidence.
- Make gaps clear enough for a founder or engineer to act on them.
- Test the workflow with real startup environments and real customer questions.
- Keep the product grounded in verified implementation rather than polished claims.

We will share more as the product develops and as we can report specific outcomes from the programs. For now, we’re grateful to Kiro, Clerk, and MongoDB for supporting the team while we build.

## Closing

Validant Lab is still early. The next step is to turn this support into a product that helps startups spend less time guessing about readiness and more time fixing the things that matter.

If your team is preparing for enterprise sales, a security review, or its first compliance program, we would like to hear what is slowing you down.
